The Harper's

On December 27, 1980 Michael and Sabrina were married in Phenix City, Alabama. We met right across the Chattahoochee River in Columbus, Georgia when we were 15 years old. Mike and I began our married lives together in metro Atlanta in Smyrna, Georgia.

We were blessed with four children, two girls and two boys. Our lives were filled with work, kids, other family, friends, and church activities. Nevertheless, Mike and I were not immune from attacks of the enemy. After 16 years of marriage, we got divorced in 1996. Not a separation, but a divorce. It looked like the devil had reigned victorious by dividing our family...but God! Little did we know, many of our friends and family were petitioning the Heavens on our behalf. Mike and I got premarital counseling and ultimately got remarried in 1999. It was not an easy road. A big part of our testimony includes the ministry of K.I.S.S. & T.E.L.L. Christian Couples Fellowship, Inc. It seemed that when we were at our wits end, K.I.S.S. & T.E.L.L. would have an event. We participated in just about every one on them. In addition, we sought Godly counsel from Bill and Elaine Jackson, K.I.S.S. & T.E.L.L. founders and board members. They were quick not to take sides, and to say thus says the Lord.

Having been remarried for over 25 years, we realize we have defied the odds. We give God all the glory and the praise. Hallelujah! Mike and I know without a shadow of doubt that the Lord used K.I.S.S. & T.E.L.L. to keep our marriage and family intact. Now, we have dedicated ourselves to helping to keep other marriages together.
